Captured this image this morning at Longwood before the crowds got too heavy to safely use a tripod. Beautiful weekend weather; a preview of what's to come...

Special Request...

I hope all of my fans and supporters had a great weekend!

This image was a special request by the subject, Elise...

I had the good fortune to be able to have a Daddy & Daughter day today. After last week, especially Friday, it was just what I needed to end my weekend on a really high note...

I took my favorite little date to the King of Prussia Mall for some shopping and lunch. We picked a little something for Mom first; and it was on to Elise. I picked out the head scarf, Elise picked out a bracelet, and we both agreed on the jacket. We then had a great lunch were I watched her drink Jasmine Tea and eat her favorite meal, Chicken & Broccoli.

When we got home. Elise saw me with my camera and asked for a shot of her with her new hair scarf and jacket. Being able to get her willing to sit still for a second in front of my camera was just the icing on the cake...

Honeydew...

The wind is buffeting the sides of the house; and I can see the snow coming down sideways in the street light...

At least this image looks a little warmer.

Signs of Spring...

Wanted to share an image for those who are really in need of a shot of Spring...

Taking advantage of another opportunity to shoot; I headed down to the place where it's always Spring, Longwood Gardens. Nothing like it for a quick pick-me-up from the Winter Blues.

I kept the Tamron 90/2.8 Macro mounted all day as I made my way thru the displays. I am really enjoying the results this lens allows me to achieve. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a Macro lens that can double as a good portrait choice also...

Facing a long week that is sure to be short on shooting time... who knows, maybe I will be surprised.

Wishing for Spring...

Had an enjoyable Saturday morning; met up with some photo buds at a local historical site, Hopewell Forge. All of us enjoying getting some snow images for our portfolios...

While many enjoy the snow; the overall feeling was one of "enough already, bring on Spring".

Later in the afternoon; while wandering around, I came across this old Ford. She looked so worn out and tired of the snow that was draped over and around her.
