This one of my images of the famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse; taken just as the sun was breaking over the horizon.I used a graduated ND filter along with a 2 second exposure to help bring out the detail in the shadowed area around the base of the lighthouse.
What this image doesn't capture; the unique experience of being eaten alive by mosquitoes. Had all my gear, except for that can of Off on the counter...
