Set up and ready for downing.... I am allergic to tequila (no, really I am) so I don't shoot it except for with my cameras. I am more of a vodka type of guy... Another one from my play with film.Have a great day! - Ed
Finally back from the lab... here is one of my images from the couple of rolls of Kodak Tri-X 400 that I shot about a month ago. This was simply re-sized and sharpened for web viewing; and of course I added my watermark. I really like the shallow depth of field, I think I shot this at around f/2.8 or f/3.2. I think that I had much better results shooting the B&W instead of the color. Most likely will run another roll or two through the old body...
The wind was blowing pretty hard as I was out there on the bridge walkway; making capturing a super sharp image almost impossible. I liked this composition because of the lines of the bridge; at least the portion you see here, along with the sunrise being reflected on the Comcast Building.
Here is an image from my trip to the Ben Franklin Bridge this morning. This was the first time that I have ever been up on the bridge. This was taken from the South Walkway. It was very windy and I had a police officer stop and ask me a bunch of questions about what I was specifically shooting. I guess I gave the right answers; he told me to have a nice day and rode off... I will have more to share soon...
Here is an image from the first roll of color film that I have shot in almost 8-1/2 years... I adjusted it very slightly; cropped, contrast & color cast, sharpened it for web viewing. It looks like I am going to have to brush up on my film skills LOL... it was fun challenging myself. I am looking forward to seeing the results from my B&W images, sent out 2 rolls today and should have results in about 3 weeks.
Not sure why; but I always wind up doing the majority of my pool playing images in B&W. Maybe it has to do with seeing the The Hustler many years ago... This is one of the many images from the recently held BGO V. Once I get my new glasses; going thru them all should be a lot easier...
Elise wanted a picture of her with Mr. Hop. Mr. Hop is her class mascot and she was selected to bring him home for the weekend. I am still waiting for my new glasses to come in; not having them has made editing images a real pain in the eyes (you were expecting something else?) Hopefully once I have them, I can get caught up with my backlog...
