Starting 1st grade today... Captured a few last evening to avoid the chaos of the morning. I never ask her to smile; only to look at the camera. I think I wind up capturing a "truer" image that way...

Fisherman...

There wasn't much in the way of clouds this morning at Marsh Creek... There were however, a few fishermen out in the mist rising off the surface of the lake.

While the clouds were absent, there was some nice color for at least a few moments.

Sometimes the opportunities you seek are not the ones you end up capitalizing on.

Storms Around The Sound

Here is an image of the sound side of the island. It was a rainy morning and I managed to catch a break...

Used a circular polarizer along with a graduated ND filter to bring out the detail in the sky.
