Here is an image that I took in my favorite little studio; my kitchen, specifically the counter with the large northern exposure windows...While the sunrise shooting at Marsh Creek was a bit of a dud; the soft overcast light makes for some pretty decent still life & floral portraits. Northern exposure windows seem to give the most flattering light for all sorts of subjects; especially portraits. I got the background black by using a recently acquired 22" collapsible reflector. It's a great compact tool to have in your kit for a quick fix to a busy background or when you need a little fill light...
