Today was bittersweet for me; remembering more happiness than sorrow...I wanted to share an image I captured today of the sunflowers near Longwood. Like others before me the past couple of days, the wind played havoc with trying to get a good crisp image of a single plant. But; shooting them as a group, I was able to get some better results.
Through the field; containing almost half a million sunflowers, it appeared to me that all of them had their heads bowed, as if in prayer...
Today's quick photo stop was all for myself; as the beautiful weather and the pose of the many flowers helped me to remember my father...
